BENDING

Using CNC and NC-controlled machines, we create and optimise bending processed from the prototype up to a full series. Franz Iten AG implements any imaginable bending of pipes.

The combination of competent employees and an extensive machine pool with more than 15 bending machines, allows to efficiently bend varying pipe diameters from 2mm up to 100mm with high quality. Within that, we are specialised on prototypes as well as small series, such as:

- Aircraft parts, e.g. engine suspensions and petrol pipes

- Pipe coils for solar energy

- Spirals for cooling during distillation 

- Handrails for spiral stairs

- Heating coils for heat generation

- Customised exhaust pipes for vintage cars

- Detonation chord coating in astronautics

- Recuperators for the pools in the chemical industry
